1. take a strand of hair and wet it
2. apply pastel on wet hair
3. apply heat, use a straightening iron or curling rod
4. wait for it to dry and voila
Precautions:
take care while applying heat, steam is formed because of the wet hair and may cause blisters on skin. cover skin with a towel.
Use chalk pastels used for art work...do not use black board or grafitti chalk
do not worry about your starightening iron getting ruined for life..let it cool down and wipe off the color on it with a wipe.
This last for a couple hours, if you want it to last longer use a hair spray afterwards.
