REF20/2016 – TEMPORARY LEAD ENUMERATOR ASSISTANTS
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: to collect data from businesses during the Census of Enterprises and Establishments (CEE)


QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate in Statistics/Economics/Population studies/Demography/Business Management/Business Admin/Accounting and Business Studies or any other equivalent qualifications acceptable to statistics Botswana.


WORK EXPERIENCE: Direct Entry. Experience in data collection will be an added advantage.

REF21/2016 – TEMPORARY EDITORS AND CODING OFFICERS


MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To edit and code forms/questionnaires from the field or administrative records


QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate in Statistics/Economics/Population studies/ Demography/ Information Technology/Business Management/Business Admin/Accounting and Business Studies or any other equivalent qualifications acceptable to statistics Botswana.


WORK EXPERIENCE: Direct Entry. Experience in data coding will be an added advantage.


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
• Basic data editing and coding skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and self-disciplined
• Drive for results
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Compliance with procedure, instructions, rules and regulations
• Service oriented and Client focused


REF22/2016 – TEMPORARY DATA ENTRY OPERATORS


MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To capture data from forms/questionnaires into a computer system.


QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate holders in Information Technology/Computing and should be able to punch at least 50 key strokes per minute.


WORK EXPERIENCE: Direct Entry. Previous experience in Census or Survey data capture. Only applicants with references of prior data entry experience will be considered.

• Basic computer skills
• Keyboard speed and high accuracy rate
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and self-disciplined
• Be able to work with minimal supervision


REF22/2016 – TEMPORARY FIELD SUPERVISOR


MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise field enumeration staff [lead enumerator assistants] and processors to collect data from surveys, census, and administrative records


QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Statistics/Economics/Population studies/Demography/Business Management/Business Admin/Accounting and Business Studies or any other equivalent qualifications acceptable to statistics Botswana.


WORK EXPERIENCE: Direct Entry. Previous experience in Census or Survey supervision will be an added advantage.
