REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Mining or equivalent
Train the Trainer Certificate
3 years post qualification experience in Training & Development
Registration with Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA)
Open Cast Blasting License Pre-appointment training
Safety training
Computer skills
Certificate - Education, Development & Training Practice (EDT)
KEA
Prepares training budget in area of responsibility and submits to line management for approval
Establishes and conducts training needs analysis and detailed objectives in specific discipline by assessing systems, processes and individual development plans and makes recommendations to management following ISO 9001 requirements.
Develops training matrices for various categories of trainees
Designs and presents theoretical and practical courses
Reviews training programme in area of responsibility taking cognizance of new technology, methods and modifi cations and make recommendations
Analyses trainees results achieved to identify trends and problem areas and develops plans and takes remedial action
Liaises with appropriate training and government institutions i.e. (TAC, BQA) to ensure compliance to legal requirements
Compiles statistics to update training record in order to update departmental and mine training database
Adheres to safety, health and environmental programs in area of responsibility taking cognizance of all legal requirements
